Hello! A little early for this question, but I am a notoriously slow writer so I thought I'd ask in advance: if we don't finish a month's challenge in time, may we still post it later on when we do complete it? Or will there be regular amnesty periods?
This is a good question because I hadn't really thought about it yet.
I think I'll go with a general permanent amnesty for previous challenges, you just wouldn't get the little 'stamp'/graphic I was planning on putting up for anyone who completed the challenge during the original month.
So, this is kind of off topic - but I was viewing the community with ?style=mine, and jsyk, your nano wordcount widget is visible in the custom text module (for those who have it in their own styles, I mean).
Ha! That took me a couple minutes to track down! I have no idea whose NaNo widget that was, but I found it in the custom text in a few places. Maybe it belonged to whoever created the styles and did testing and it accidentally got left in? Or was left in on purpose as an example except I never would have noticed it. *amused*
I don't NaNo, so... really confused for a second there. ^^;;
How weird! Thank you for looking into it - it just seemed a little strange to have a NaNo widget on a comm like this that I thought it might have been an accidental copy/paste when you were setting things up. Now I'm curious if this is a bug that should be reported further up... *goes off to prod at a few styles*
Yeah. I found it in, like, one more of my communities but not the others, but the styles all seem to have different creators and ???
The username on the NaNo also seems vaguely familiar but I'm afraid it might just be so many years in fandom and everyone seems vaguely familiar at this point.
