Challenge February 2020
Feb. 29th, 2020 11:22 pmFills:
Four Seasons: Winter (2,800 words, FRM)
Greg's drunk, Shania Twain's singing to a fucking horse, and he's tired of people telling him about Alex kissing Josh. Right now, he just needs a fucking distraction. And if that distraction is kissing some random stranger he'll never see again at midnight, so be it. It's definitely, absolutely, not to spite Alex. Absolutely not. Even though it definitely is.
Four Seasons: Spring (1,472 words, FRM)
Alex just thought they were taking a break from filming, not hiding away behind the Taskmaster house so Greg could absolutely ruin him.
Four Seasons: Summer (1,343 words, FRM)
There was something incredibly comforting about having Alex curled up in his arms like a little boy as they whiled away a warm summer night.
Four Seasons: Autumn (2,531, FRE)
Alex is worrying about everything again. Greg finds a way to make him stop, just for a while.

February 2020's Challenge is Themed Prompt Tables!
Themed prompt tables! Many theme table challenges were fandom or even pairing specific and had their own communities. Tables generally had anywhere between five and a hundred prompts on them. Shorter ones often had themes, like the ones below, but many of the hundred-prompt ones were collections of themes and also 'writer's choice' slots. Many authors and artists took on the challenge of writing 100 stories about their favourites. (I wonder how many ever finished... I had a friend who I know kept working on theirs for the better part of a decade before finally admitting defeat.) Many also had claiming and limits on how many people could be writing for certain fandoms or pairings, depending. (Some also had time limits - if someone didn't post any new works for three months, they'd lose their claim, etc.)
Themed prompt tables have actually been making an impressive comeback on Dreamwidth! (I've seen a lot of icon communities again, too! Yay!)
Table 1 - Directions
Table 2 - Meals
Table 3 - Seasons
Claiming Instructions:
Leave a comment with the table you want to claim and the Fandom and, optionally, Pairing, or Character you'd like to claim with. (Don't worry, there are no limits on how many people can claim a certain anything. It's just fun to keep track.) You may only have one table claim at a time, but once you finish your claim, post a new entry with links to your works and then you can claim a new table.
Original work is allowed. (Claim as 'original' or 'original, character/universe/etc.'.)
Minimums for completion - each written work should be at least 100 words, art should be at least a nice doodle, any other media can be discussed but should be equivalent.
These tables not your cuppa? 2017 and 2018's prompts are still open for claiming.
