Bath Day

"Shiho!"

Shiho smiled at Kazuki before bending down to let 00 flutter out of her arms and towards a group of other haros that seemed like they were unsure about helping or staying out of the way.

"I think I'm ready," she said as she stood. Ready as she'd ever be.

"Well, we're good to go. Soap and brushes and hoses."

And Exia, with all his Avalanche Dash kit, and Strike in her absolutely garish Strike Freedom rig, both reaching for their temporary pilots with outstretched hands.

It was bath day. Shiho was pretty sure she'd never be dry again.

Patrick grinned. His Force had actually managed to pull off a win even when things had been looking pretty dire. It had not been a flawless victory, but it had been an awesome one. If it had been real... Well, he could still show a replay to Kati later, if nothing else. She might not be quite as impressed as he would like her to be, but she wasn't quite as into GBN as he was.

He couldn't help playing whenever he could, though. It was a lot of fun and besides, he was great when it came to simulators.

A Sharp Sword

Cecil didn't seem overly frustrated, but Asch certainly minded. He had hoped that he might be able to work some sort of magic in this world, but that didn't seem to be the case aside from a few little spits and sputters. At least Cecil had found him a good sword and that would have to be enough. He owed Cecil his life, after all, and he rather expected the sentiment went both ways.

"Let's keep going," Asch said after cleaning monster blood off his sword. "If we're going to make it to that town..."

He'd make himself damned useful.

Take a sabbatical, she said.

I have a friend who will sublet, she said.

They have a dedicated car wash area, she said.

Akio Ohtori wasn't entirely sure it was a good idea, but perhaps it wasn't a bad one either.

The condo was nice, the view was lovely...

When the condo association's board members came to welcome him and ask if he might volunteer, Akio figured it wouldn't hurt. He had free time...

It was not the absolute worst mistake of his life.

But at least the car wash area was, indeed, very nice.
